Used Books in Kuwait
Qasr Al-Thaqafa sells second-hand books in English from Salmiya. The shelves hold about 86,000 titles, with editions printed as far back as the early 1900s: novels, children's books, history, faith, cooking, business and reference. More than 70,000 of them cost 5 KWD or less.
Almost every title here is the only copy we have. Each is graded from Fine to Fair, and its listing describes that copy, including any foxing, cracked spine or name on the flyleaf. If a book arrives in worse condition than described, you have 7 days to send it back and we pay the return postage.
Delivery anywhere in Kuwait costs 1.5 KWD, and orders of 20 KWD or more ship free. You pay cash on delivery. Readers outside Kuwait can order too, by DHL Express.
On a budget? Start with books under 3 KWD. Collectors may prefer our vintage books printed before 1980.
