The Story

When Jack Mcgarvey, a tough Los Angeles cop, is badly injured and his partner is killed by a drug-maddened punk, he feels he's had it with the city. He moves with his wife, Heather, and their 8-year-old son, Toby, to a ranch he has inherited in Eagle's Roost, Montana, where they expect to enjoy a quiet, safe life. What Jack and Heather don't know is that the previous owner had died of sheer terror. For something inhuman lurks in the woods around the ranch, something more dangerous, more purely evil, than any threat in the city streets, something that has targeted little Toby for its own.
