Tilling The Soul

The Story

Every gardener knows that tilling the soil is essential for flowers and vegetables to grow. Praying is like tilling the soil of our souls: The tougher our circumstances, the more diligently we pray, and the more we are changed in the process. Tilling the Soul tackles the questions we ask when times are hard. Questions such as, Father, do you hear me when I pray? Am I praying hard enough? How should I pray when my need is urgent? What can I learn from pain and prayer? Taking you through her personal season of challenges, Denise George helps you till your own soul and learn timeless lessons about prayer. This eight-week devotional Bible study experience includes twenty-minute weekday sessions; sixty-minute weekend sessions for deeper personal, mentor, or group study; and a five-minute weekend Scripture prayer, all to enrich your dialogue with God and interaction with Scripture. Tilling the Soul is a daily reflective Bible study, designed to stimulate your personal growth and explore the hard questions of life one-on-one with God. It will inspire you to continue steadfast prayer, even in the midst of crisis and sorrow.
