The Use Of Fire

The Story

Reynolds Price's first book of poems since the critically accalimed 1986 volume, The Laws of Ice investigates this other temperament, less destructive than creative--even provocative where memory and desire meet--deeply embedded in the rhythms of the place and the people who make the language alive.
