The Story

Factually based account of one of the most celebrated unsolved murder cases which occurred in Sydney in 1935. On Anzac Day in that year a giant Tiger shark, on display in the Coogee public baths, coughed up a tattooed arm. The tale of detection in the 1930s Sydney underworld is told by the author who believes he knows the solution to the crimes which have baffled police and scientists for decades. The author is a professor of law at the University of Adelaide. He is author or co-author of eight other books on Australian law and history and was formerly a Commissioner of the Australian Law Reform Commission.
