The Story

When reporter Melissa Whitworth places an ad seeking to interview women whose men belong to someone else for a feature article, she never dreams that she will find herself face to face with her own husband's mistress. Nor that the young woman, Sharon Smith, will be murdered within hours of their interview. Now Chief Inspector Lloyd and his partner, Judy Hill, find that murder is just one thread in a web of police brutality, blackmail, rape, fraud and more murder.
