The Mitten Board Book Edition

The Story

Literature of Delight. It's every child's wish to have all that dough but Brittain's young hero not only feels his wish has been fulfilled, but overkilled, when literally all the money in the world is at his disposal. An exaggerated stomp through fantasyland, to be sure, but brightly funny. Literature of Delight. This is a very funny version of a Ukrainian folktale about a boy's lost mitten. That small knitted object takes on gigantic proportions as more animals crowd into its warm comfort-and the ending always brings laughter. Brett, best known for the minute ornamental detail she crowds into every corner of every page, has other delightful books to her credit, including The Twelve Days of Christmas and Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Best Books for Children, 6th ed. In this Ukrainian folktale, Nicki loses in the snow one of the mittens that his grandmother knit him. Bowker Authored Title code.
