The Story

The woman was too beautiful, the man too hyped.  But Joe Curtis, hitching from Detroit to Seattle, got into their Chevy Nova on a deserted stretch of Montana highway--in a chance encounter that would plunge him into a nightmare of terror and survival. In a place called Coeur d'Alene, the couple became killers, leaving Joe to take all the heat.  Suddenly, he's the object of an international manhunt, running from cops and federal agents, embroiled in a conspiracy that reaches out from a remote Alaskan peninsula. Leanne Red Feather is the ATF agent hunting Joe Curtis down--not knowing for sure if he's innocent or guilty, only that she will never give up.  Father Amon is the leader of a fanatical cult that is luring both the fugitive and the fed into its bizarre web of terrorism...to its armed sanctuary in the Alaskan wilderness...to the one place that will be their salvation...or their death...
