The Story

During the 1800 pioneers made their way across the United States in search of new and prosperous land. Despite illness, lack of food, and challenging weather the pioneers never looked back. Families settled on their new land and the American Frontier was born. Before long whole towns grew around the homes and began to shape America as we know it today. This book tells of the daily life on the American Frontier, from what people ate and how they dressed, to where and how they lived and went to school.
