The Story
Pulitzer Prize-winning author and Kenan College's youngest full-time professor, Simon Shaw, is asked to take a look at a strange find brought up from the bottom of the ocean. It is currently being kept in an ice-house on a small island across the water from his North Carolina college town. The object appears to be an old diver's outfit, now barnacle-encrusted and overgrown with seaweed. But is there a body inside? Simon can't wait to find out, and once again, discovers himself seeking the solution to a crime of the past.
