Read With Me Series: Kids Of The Bible (Nirv)

The Story

Does an adventure sound good right about now? You'll find it in the Read With Me Bible Series! Walk through the sea on dry ground along with the Israelites. See beautiful angels walking up and down Jacob's ladder. Meet some really cool kids from the Bible (like David, who really knew how to use a slingshot!). And find out how to apply wise words of the Bible to your life each day. Each of these four books is loaded with 28 stories from the Bible and focuses in on a theme from the Bible: Miracles, Angels, Kids, and Wise Words. Comical, lively illustrations by Dennis Jones appear on every single page spread. By the time readers ages 4-8 complete the series, they'll come to know and love these Bible stories. You can depend on the biblical accuracy of this series. Each Bible story is based on the easy-to-read New International Reader's Version (NIrV). This simplified translation, created by the same scholars who translated the New International Version, reads at a third grade level. So kids can read this book on their own or sit down with Mom, Dad, the baby-sitter -- you name it -- and uncover wonderful treasures from the Bible.
