The Story

Once again Phyllis Richman serves up a delectable mystery stew featuring Chas Wheatley. This time, in preparation for her new column, Chas is excavating the underbelly of the restaurant business while she's looking to launch her search for the best eateries in America. During her digging, several dastardly murders and a suicide prompt her to delve deeper into her investigation, which takes her -- and the reader -- down a twisted trail of deceit, blackmail, and deadly danger.
