Mothers Are Forever

The Story

Motherhood, other claims to the contrary, is the world's oldest profession and it's most important. This little book celebrates the joys and responsibilities of the job. Lin Yutang observed, "Of all the rights of women, the greatest is to be a mother." Yutang understood that a good mother does more than give birth; she shapes life. The quotations herein remind us that mother, as she raises her child, places her mark upon eternity. And we children are eternally grateful.
