Shipwrecked castaway Lemuel Gulliver wakes to find himself on Lilliput, an island inhabited by six-inch tall people, and subsequently encounters the crude giants of Brobdingnag, and other strange peoples. With a text based on the first edition of 1726, this volume includes full explanatory notes, bibliography, and illustrations. A new Introduction discusses political and artistic aspects of the work.
