The Story

New York police are baffled by a series of horrific rape/murders committed by a bloodthirsty psychopath who leaves naked babydolls behind at the scenes of his gruesome attacks. Dr. Evelyn Sutcliffe crossed paths with the maniac and survived. But now the terror has followed her into her sanctuary, the emergency room of Manhattan University Hospital. Because the most recent slaying has struck perilously close to home. And all evidence suggests that someone in Sutcliffe's tightly knit group of healers is a killer.
