FACES of FEAR in the BIBLE is a year-long daily devotional guide.There are ten sections, each representing different categories of fear seen in people throughout Biblical history and experienced in our world today. These range from being afraid, such as the shepherds to whom angels appeared: ..".and they were sore afraid" to words of Jesus to his disciples: "Let not your hearts be troubled; neither let them be afraid." Each day has a Bible verse, short devotional and a prayer.Altha Satterwhite was born and educated in North Carolina. She and her physician husband served over twenty years as medical missionaries in Kyoto, Japan. Upon returning to the States, they lived in central Florida. Upon his death in 2004, she returned to North Carolina where she met and married her present husband. She is the mother of four, grandmother of five and great-grandmother of two.Published works include THE GOOD DOCTOR (a biography of her former husband) and Panning for GOLD NUGGETS of TRUTH in the BIBLE, Brentwood Christian Press; ANOTHER TIME and OTHER POEMS and A NEW DAY, Watermark Press. She has also composed a number of anthems and a cantata, and has enjoyed doing some arranging of songs, including barbershop harmony.
