The Story

Jack and Lily live an ordinary life until their 18-month-old daughter, Katie, is accidentally burned while home with Lily and rushed to the hospital. Their normal world begins to unravel when an emergency room physician's report causes the state to take temporary custody of Katie, setting in motion an ordeal in which Lily and Jack must face every loving parent's greatest fear: that their child will be taken from them. Lily worries that her history of mental instability and post-partum depression will be used against her. Jack, in turn, blames Lily.
