The Story

After a devastating accident, Anne Whittaker leaves her troubled marriage and returns to her hometown of Tallululah, Mississippi, to lick her wounds and find a new direction. To keep herself busy, she begins to investigate the town's ruling family, her in-laws, the Whittakers, who run a lucrative cotton plantation and live in the beautiful mansion of Belle Pointe. Anne's husband, Buck, follows her to Tallululah to win her back, and in doing so discovers some family truths that will rock the town and change their lives forever.
