The Story

While in an Oklahoma camp meeting, God spoke to Carol's heart about writing a book concerning the great need for positive affirmation among the members of the body of Christ. Quite often there are those attending church services who possess feeling of loneliness, depression, or despondency. How their spirits would be lifted by a warm handshake, a loving smile, and a kind word from a member of the Body. Yet how many Christians really accept the mandate Christ gave 'to practice loving each other'? Sharing testimonies gleaned from her 30 years as a pastor's wife, Carol challenges her readers to make a difference in the lives of those about them and in their local church. We can do this by creating unity and love through the words we speak and our actions to others. The choice is up to every individual, but indeed, as believers practice being 'spirit lifters', the lives of others will be greatly affected.
